Florian Sprenger is Professor for Media and Cultural Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt. He is author of Politics of Microdecisions: Edward Snowden, Net Neutrality and the Architecture of the Internet (Meson Press, 2015) and Medien des Immediaten. Elektrizität, Telegraphie, McLuhan. His research covers topics such as digital cultures, surveillance and control, the history of artificial environments, the internet of things, and media philosophy.
